we strictly implement, monitor and document food safety principles including good agriculture practice (GAP), good hygienic practice (GHP), and hazard analysis and critical control points through the safe quality food institute (HACCP/SQF) in our cold storage facility. all our domestic and international partners are fully certified accordingly as well.
international and domestic partner food safety:
we have third party audits performed annually, both domestic and international, to ensure our imports are protected and properly stored. these comprehensive audits focus on facility food safety programs, prevention of cross contamination, facility ssop’s, pest control, structural components and facility security.
food defense training:
we provide annual food defense training so that those employed within our facility are provided with the tools, products, and services necessary to comply with (FDA) regulations that protect against unintentional contamination.
integrated pest management (IPM):
our integrated pest management (IPM) approach is an effective and environmentally sensitive method of ensuring that the most current, comprehensive pest management programs are in place.
traceability and recall procedure:
our traceability methods record the sourcing, processing, transportation and/or storage of our imports throughout the supply chain to exercise greater control at every stage of food production, processing and distribution. recall procedures are put into practice to help react to a crisis quickly and ensure that distributed products can be traced with effective customer identification.
